Au Cinéma : A Tout de Suite (de Benoit JACQUOT)

Que de retours.

Benoit Jacquot. Le cinéaste m'avait fait révé en suivant en temps réel 'La Fille Seule', Virginie Ledoyen, en jeune femme de chambre de grand hotel. Avant de sauter à pieds joints dans les pubs pour L'Oréal elle était alors si belle.Benoit ne nous faisait le cadeau d'être amoureux d'une image pendant une petite heure trente.

Puis vint le choc psychanalitique dans 'Le Septiéme Ciel'. Avec en plein milieu, aux instants clefs (la bague qui se perd, se retrouve, glisse sur les doigts), une rupture de la bande son. Le temps passe, on oublie tout en gardant un nom en tête.

Et Benoit nous revient. Encore un autre style. Trés fort. En noir et blanc. En DV. En gros grain. En 1975. Avant le SIDA, dans une atmosphére que l'on devine bougeoise et à une époque peut étre pas si malheureuse. A l'époque des casses et des Pascals.

Scénario inspiré d'une histoire vraie. Une nouvelle égérie (Isild Le Besco), elle s'appelle Lily. Les Cahiers du Cinéma l'appellent Elle. Elle (l'actrice) a d'ailleurs réalisé un film. Une histoire d'entrée en fraude au cinéma. A moins que je ne me trompe. En tout cas je ne l'avais jamais vu.

Un revenant parmi les acteurs. L'homme quel aime. On le reconnait entre mille a son regard. Le petit frére de 'Bye Bye' (de Karim Dridi) a grandi (Ouassini Embarek). Aujourd'hui ces deux la s'aiment. Alors que tout les opposent.

D'un coté la jeune fille issue de la bourgeoisie. Collége parisien, bonne à tout faire (visiblement complice). Elle tue l'ennui en dessinant ou en séchant les cours avec son amie. Pour aller boire un café. Elles rencontrent alors deux loustics qui "travaillent dans l'Immobilier". Et elle tombe amoureux du bel éphébe.

19 ans. Choc amoureux. Irréversible ?? ce sera une des thématiques du récit. Car l'amant est aussi bandit. Un casse qui tourne mal, un complice et un otage tué. Lily cache les fuyards (l'acolyte est Nicolas Duvauchelle déja vu dans "Les Corps Impatients", toujours aussi antipathique). Lily les suit, des liasses de Pascals en poche. En Espagne, au Maroc. En Gréce.

L'amour se délite. On sent venir chez la jeune fille la perte d'une sécurité. Avec ce basculement lorsqu'elle doit rendre le bracelet fétiche que son amant lui avait royalement offert. Elle sera abandonnée à la descente de l'aéroport, à Athénes.

Une autre histoire commencera avec une amie grecque. Histoire interrompue par un retour et une nouvelle vie. Retour sur Paris, rapprochemment avec la famille (qui n'a pas jugé manifestement), avec la soeur, avec la mére. Comme celle-ci le dit :"tu sais on a plusieurs vies".

C'est si vrai. L'avenir dépeint pour notre héroine facon GO sous les tropiques. Chez Jacquot ce qui me frappe tout le temps c'est qu'il trouve toujours un ton juste. Même si c'est parfois difficile a suivre, dans le sens ardu. La thématique (ici l'attachement et l'angoisse d'abandon qui le suit, les nouvelles aventures, la tendresse) est souvent trés proche de ce que l'on peut éprouver dans la vie ('Le Septiéme Ciel' et l'expérience de la cure psychanalytique en est un exemple parfait).

C'était sympa l'amour libre avant le SIDA.

Allez donc faire un tour au ciné.
